In Farmville, is there a way to get something else than chickens from the eggs?

Author: My friends post eggs. I once got a flamingo. Now, all I get are chickens! Is it because of my coop? Is there a way to get something else than chickens from the eggs?

You need to help harvest one of your friend’s fields at least 300 times. After you are done, you should see other animals from them. I have had a baby elephant and kittens come out.
I reckon it is just luck … i’ve got a picnic basket and some other items but i just sold them.
Small percent chance to the really cool gifts. You got lucky on the flamingo but if you get a lot more gifts from friends per day then that will up your chances of getting a cool gift.
