We’ve been dealing with 8yrs of conservative rule. For only two of those years the Dems. have been in control of the House and the Senate. That means Six years of unopposed conservative rule. During this period we have seen this country falter on every possible front. The economy, the military, constitutional rights, natural disasters, energy concerns, environmental concerns, equal rights, unemployment, and our national standing have all been reduced courtesy of Republican leadership and Conservative dogma. We have seen George W. Bush use more signing statements to sidestep laws than any other president in history. The Conservative agenda has failed on every front unless you happen to be a large corp. profiteering from war such as Blackwater, Kbr, Haliburton, or Bechtel. Authoritarian Capitalism is on the rise in Russia and China and N. Korea is starting up its nuclear program again. The Project for the New American century has failed. You really want to place the conservatives back in charge? You really reckon they are going to right their own mistakes? This is basically like taking a wolf out chicken coop and putting in a fox. Do the Conservatives really need another chance?

After controlling the White House for all but eight out of the last 28 years, boasting a majority in the House of Representatives for 12 out of the last 14 years and in the Senate for more than eight out of the last 12, as well as having appointed seven out of the nine justices to the US Supreme Court, the attempt by the Republicans to masquerade as outsiders taking on Washington and its “elites” is quite simply ludicrous.

Well said. I couldnt have said it better! But, the Cons are pig-headed and will lie and cheat their way back to the White House but they can. They do a excellent job of covering up what is their fault, AND have the nerve to pin it on the Libs! Hopefully, after the fiasco they have caused, more of us will get out there and beat them at the voting booth.
I have nothing against Mcain but i reckon there should be a democratic president so we dont get screwed again
