How to build and maintain a Chicken Coop

any help for bad/stressful dreams?

i’ve been having terrible/stressful dreams for about a month now. they’re really extremely weird and some are like a sci-fi movie. anywhere from getting knives thrown at me in a chicken coop, to my close friends evolving into a higher species and trying to kill me. it’s making me paranoid and i’m losing sleep because i’m frightened i’ll have more dreams. it’s pretty much an every night occurrence. it’s rare that i’ll have a pleasant dream. i’ve heard the whole don’t eat before bed, and don’t watch scary movies and stuff like that, but i’m not taking any medication before bed, and i’m not eating before bed. the most i’ll have is water. after stressful dreams i wake up with a headache. i have problems with headaches as it is(read the question i posted before this for information on that) does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? i’d really appreciate it. many thanks in advance. (i’m sixteen if that matters)

To me, it sounds like the person above me said, anxiety dreams. Your dream about knives being thrown at you usually means people have taken your thoughts and thoughts and basically thrown them back at you in denial. The dreams about friends evolving sounds like you’re worried of your friends losing sight of what made them chose to become friends with you in the first place. All of this anxiety is causing your brain to work extra hard. Dreams are part of your REM cycle (Rapid Eye Movement). To a person watching you, you seem like you’re having a seizure nearly, but your brain is super active, making scenarios, playing tricks it would seem.

I reckon whatever is on your mind is brutal and its taking its toll on your mental health which is adversely taking its toll on your physical health (i.e. headaches).

    Hope this helps somewhat.

i know exactly how you feel, ive been having the same problems mine are mostly really detail dreams about my fiance leaving me or cheating on me but i know he would never do that, my suggestion is to look up Lucid Dreaming. you can learn how to control your dreams and be able to tell when your dreaming so you can wake yourself up or stop the terrible things from happening. Also meditation helps it calms your mind and helps with terrible dreams

They seem like anxiety dreams to me, so I suggest that you focus on, and treat the sources of anxiety/worry in your life. The subject is addressed in section 6, page N first, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris Headache; see section 14. Repost this in Social Science > Dream Interpretation.
