Ok, im thinking of convincing my parents for getting me two silkie chickens. But because we live in a sity, not like toronto, but we have a excellent size backyiard and a nice neighbourhood. I could easily build a nice chicken coop in the back yiard, with a heat lamp, and everything.
Would they be pleased living in a backyiard?

Some cities allow backyard chickens, others don’t. You’ll have to check with your city. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be pleased in your coop, but if you don’t socialize them daily, the two of them will only bond with each other and not reckon very much of you. Silkies make fantastic pets too.
nope your not aloud, you must be in a farm/ country land with AT least decent land, they wont accept it and people will turn you in.
I work at a honest farming facility. and we dont allow it.
but, you can have rabbits
maybe, but you should check your city’s laws to make sure it is legal to own them where you live. i know that livestock is forbidden in a lot of cities. But as far as their happiness, i reckon that they would be alright as long as they have room to run around and they can;t get out of the yard.
try spell check
they would LIKE IT!!! but you need to check your city by-laws first – not every city is smart enough to let people have pet chickens..
get hens only –
a rooster with only 1 hen will beat her up too much and they are loud.. you can get eggs with hens only
