How to build and maintain a Chicken Coop

My neighbor has a chicken coop that stinks really bad who do I call to get them to clean it or get rid of it?

I live in Lexington SC and this neighbor has chickens and some other type of bird that makes a lot of noise but the smell is dreadful and I want to check into the laws who should I call to find if this is legal

If you’d like to be friends with your neighbor, question them if they sell the bird droppings for fertilizer. They just might need the thought planted that they can make money to get them to clean up. Bird droppings are some of the best fertilizer on Earth. You might want some if you have a garden. Just make sure to cover it with dirt to prevent the smell while it decomposes. The noisy birds are probably Guineas, they sound like a New Years Party ratchet.

first I would find out how your neighbor hood is zoned. Are they even alowed to keep chickens there? Than if they keep those birds clean they shouldn’t stink call the humane society and have them investigate. Also with the birdflue, keeping chickens, you have to have all sorts of permits I really would check into that. Excellent luck.

Call your local city hall or municipal building & they will connect you to the right party to talk to. I wouldn’t like to place up with that situation either, especially in the summer.
