Okay well i have 2 questions. The first one is I have a windows vista gateway laptop. But it doesn’t have Microsoft word or powerpoint or any of that stuff. When i first got it it did have these things but it wouldn’t let me use them because it told me to enter my activation code and i didn’t want to place it in because it was to long (yeah i’m bone idle). So now it’s gone so my question is how do i get it back? Okay second question is I have three chickens in one coop. The only thing they have so far is a stick so they can sleep on and water/food. I also have five chickens in another and they have the same stuff like the other chickens. Is there any way i can make them more comfortable to live in there?
Thank you guys very much.

I don’t know how to get Microsoft word/powerpoint back, but I have Windows Vista and mine didn’t come with the whole Microsoft word etc package, so I downloaded OpenOffice instead. It’s free and provides several programs that are basically the same as those; ‘Calc’ is like Exel, ‘Writer’ is the same as Word, ‘Impress’ is the same as powerpoint etc. You can get it here free:

Chickens don’t need much except shelter, access to food and water, perches to sit on, and some outdoor space, preferably grassy so they can scratch around and search for bugs and worms and things. You should make sure they have a diet of grains and also have grit available as this keeps their eggshells excellent and strong and also helps them digest food by grinding it down in the birds’ gizzard.
If you want to treat them you could always give them leftovers in addition to their diets. They’ll eat nearly anything, but stuff like chopped up veg is always a excellent bed. You can use a food mixer to mush it down if you want so it’s simpler for them to eat instead of being in huge chunks. They really don’t mind if it’s like slurry – mine eat mashed potato and all sorts.
I have #2. That’s about all chickens need. One note. The stick you mention as a perch should be about an inch and a half thick as they can grasp it easily after walking flat footed all day. They are not perching birds. e-mess me if you need more.
Im notr a computer person, BUT, I can help with the chickens. I have 10 years or so of expreience with them.
You should have a safe pen for them. If it has chicken with around it thats wonderfl so that the raccooons dont get them. I use a wooden rod from a depo store and place it across it.
I also have nesting boxes which should be a must for hens to lay there eggs in. One box per TWO chcikens.
Have you ever place the chcickens all in the same coop? If they arnt the same beed it doesnt matter. Or split the hens in 2 groups for one rooster unless multliple roos get along whicth each other
I was going to answer your chicken question, but it seems that most of the other answers have that covered. In regards to your computer question: Some computers come with a "trial" of microsoft word, powerpoint, etc. If you would’ve enttered the code, you would only have been able to use it for a small period of time. Then you would have to buy it. So right now you still have the same option, you can buy Microsoft office or make due with one of the many other "free" word processors, spreadsheets, etc. You can download a free powerpoint viewer if you just want to be able to view powerpoint presentations. One excellent website to look for very useful free downloads is Kim Komando’s website http://www.komando.com. She has a weekly tech talk show and her site has a excellent selection of freebies.
