O.K., This is the weirdest killing I have ever seen. I’ve lived here in Missouri for nearly 12 years and I have never seen anything like this in my life.
I went out this morning to feed my chickens and found one dead with it’s head off and shoulders slightly missing. There was no traces of blood fround on the bird, near the bird, no blood inside the bird, no guts, no feathers ruffled, no feathers missing.
We have a 5 foot fence surrounding chicken coop, not possible for any animal to get under fence. Fence has a gate in which was locked and doesn’t appear to ever been opened. I found no traces of a struggle, no traces of foot prints, no traces of anything that could help solve this mystery. This happend between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. in the morning. Can anyone help out with this crazy killing of my chicken? I have even considered a gargoyle which I reckon is just nuts anyways to even come close to thinking that is possible.
I noticed I left this part out. The chickens roost in the coop which is at leat 6 foot high. They all roost in the same part but, it still doesn’t clarify why no evidence of a struggle. Sometimes I wish animals could talk because this one is killing me and driving me nuts with all the posibilities.
