How to build and maintain a Chicken Coop

With the recession and all how about a few chickens and small garden within the city limits?

I know there are restrictions as far as poultry, but does the city make ammends when something like this happens? Those’ tractor chicken coops’ would work!

Depends on the city and where in that city you are. I know people who have been raising chickens all the time in the city. And I reckon everyone should get rid of those water guzzling lawns and plant a garden.

well from experience i know that its a huge NO especially if ur neighboors are asses but if ur neighboorz r koo then i would tell u to get only hens not roosters because of the constant crowing belive me i liked the sound but my neighboors weren’t so pleased i even questioned around to shelters and cops and all that and they all said ,if u wanna have poultry i suggest u go out of city limits>> alot of them made up stuff about chickens having disieses n stuff and so ur preety much stuck buyin eggs and chicken from ur local grocery store :{ o and if you choose to get a few hens be sure to keep them away from ur garden theyll eat everything and scrach it up but it is verry excellent 4 them to eat veggies and most of ur leftovers!
